Development Programs
First Steps Program (Toddlers Preschool)
  • For children ages 4 and 5
  • Open to both boys and girls
  • Groups can consist of both boys and girls
  • Practice sessions held at least twice a month (on weekends)
  • Practice sessions last for one hour and a half (1 1/2 hours)
  • Two to three festivals will be held for the year
  • Tournaments are not considered for this age group
  • Coaches for this program must possess a US Soccer "G" or equivalent certification

Grassroots Program
  • For children ages 6 to 12 and is open to both boys and girls
  • Groups can consist of both boys and girls up to the age of 11
  • Groups are divided as 6 and 7 years old, 8 and 9 years old, 10 and 11 years old and 12 year olds.
  • Practice sessions for ages 6 to 11 held at least three times for the month and at least once a week for the 12 year olds.
  • Three festivals held for the year
  • Tournaments only for 10 to 12 year olds
  • Coaches for this program must possess a FIFA Grassroots certification, US Soccer "E", a CONCACAF "D" Level 1 or equivalent certification or be working under the direction of a person with such certification.

Youth Program
  • For youth ages 13 to 16
  • Open to both boys and girls
  • Groups consist of only boys or only girls
  • Practice sessions held at least once a week
  • While the first two programs emphasize on introduction to the sport and nurturing the love for the sport, the youth program shifts to a more developmental approach where systems of play, positions, etc become more established
  • Festivals may be organized for this age group. However, participation shifts to tournaments consisting of small sided games and regular games.
  • Coaches for this program must possess a US Soccer "D", a CONCACAF "C" or equivalent certification or be working under the guidance of a person with such certfication.
Select Team Program
  • For youth 17 years and older
  • Open to both male and female but priority will be given to those coming through the ranks of our other programs
  • This team will represent the club in official tournaments such as the Cayo Football Association Amateur First Division
  • Players who don't make it to the select team will be included for recreational games
  • Coaches for this program must possess a US Soccer "C", a CONCACAF "B" or equivalent certification or have years of coaching experience or be working under the guidance of a person with such certification or experience
REACH (Reach, Embrace, Accept, Cherish, Honor) Belize Program
  • For children and youth with physical or other disabilities
  • Open to both boys and girls
  • At least one practice session for the month
  • At least two festivals organized for the year
  • Close working relationship with organizations dealing with special needs children
  • Coaches for this program should fit the same criteria as those for the regular programs in addition possess knowledge (although not in detail) of various disabilities and medical or other conditions such as asthma, autism, epilepsy, etc, and how they affect the performance of the participants

Community Assistance Program (CAP)
  • The club through its local and foreign contacts will secure new and used equipment such as football boots and uniforms that can then be given out to communities, schools or organizations
  • The club through its local and foreign contacts will secure exchange programs and scholarships for its members
  • Coaches will volunteer their time and conduct training sessions at schools, villages or other communities
  • Coaches will assist to train and educate teachers, leaders or coaches from schools or community teams
  • The club will partner with other organizations such as the Cayo Football Association to provide opportunities for the more financial disadvantaged children

Monthly Fees
  • First Steps Program - $5.00
  • Grassroots Program - $7.00
  • Youth Program - $10.00
  • Recreational (Players not selected for the select team) - $10.00
  • REACH Program - $0.00
Other fees such as those associated with travel are paid separately. While insurance is optional it is highly recommended, especially for the youth program and is paid separately.
